The Downtown Calgary Network System is designed to ensure high reliability and service the power requirements of downtown's high electricity use and high customer density. The Network covers eight square kilometers and more than 90 per cent of the infrastructure is located underground in roadways, sidewalks and alleyways.
ENMAX Power Corporation (ENMAX Power) maintains, operates and plans for future growth in the Downtown Calgary Network System and ensures the safe and reliable delivery of power with regular maintenance and upgrade programs as well as through customer driven projects.
To keep Calgarians informed on our larger projects in The Downtown Calgary Network System we've posted our downtown projects that are located on major roadways or that will have us working in an area for more than four weeks.
