During the colder winter months or the hottest days of the summer, electricity will not be disconnected. However a load limiter or electricity limiter will be attached to your meter during those times.
Load limiters or electricity limiters reduce the flow of electricity so that only essential appliances can be used. This typically includes a few lights, heaters, stoves and medical equipment.
If too much electricity is used, the limiter will shut off electricity completely.

bill support page for resources and community organizations that can offer help.
Turn off ALL electrical devices (appliances, lights. etc).
