The default supplier rate schedules will be revised effective July 1, 2018 for the Calgary, Cardston, Ponoka and Red Deer service areas, which are the responsibility of ENMAX Power Corporation.

The default supplier rate applies to commercial customers who consume more than 250 megawatt hours on an annual basis and have not signed a competitive contract with a retailer.

The current rate structure, effective April 1, 2010, has a fixed demand charge per KVA plus a variable energy (MWh) charge based on AECO-C (gas price index) and a set heat rate.

The delivery of natural gas and electricity to you is not affected by your choice. If you change who you purchase natural gas services or electricity services from, you will continue receiving natural gas and electricity from the distribution company in your service area.
