ENMAX appoints new CFO

​​​ENMAX Corporation (ENMAX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Helen J. Wesley as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer effective January 1, 2016.

Helen brings more than 20 years of financial and senior leadership experience in the international oil & gas and chemicals industries. From 2010 to 2014, she was Executive Vice President, Corporate Services for Talisman Energy and prior to that, spent 10 years with Petro-Canada in senior financial and operational leadership positions, including Vice President and Treasurer for Suncor Energy following its merger with Petro-Canada. Most recently, she served as an executive search consultant with Spencer Stuart specializing in global energy, financial officer and board practices.

"Throughout her career, Helen has delivered results and adeptly led organizations through change. Her collaborative leadership style and forward-thinking approach will serve ENMAX well as we move forward on the opportunities ahead for our company, customers and industry."

Helen holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, an MBA from Bentley College in Boston, Massachusetts and a chartered financial analyst (CFA) designation. In 2012, she received the Management Alumni Excellence Award from the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business and also holds a professional director designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She currently serves on the boards of Enerflex, a publicly traded energy services company, and CARE Canada, a nonprofit humanitarian organization.
