Calgary, Alta. – ENMAX is proud to have its commitment to safety recognized with two awards from the
Canadian Electricity Association (CEA).
Every year, the CEA recognizes utility companies across Canada who set the bar for industry safety
standards. This year, ENMAX is pleased to accept the President’s Award of Excellence for Employee
Safety in Transmission and the President's Award of Excellence for Employee Safety in Distribution.
The President's Award is given to electricity service providers who have achieved the top ranking in Total
Recordable Injury Frequency among their peers.

As a member of the CEA, ENMAX follows the national standard for Canadian utility companies and
reports statistical safety data on an annual basis. In the past decade. ENMAX’s safety performance has
