Transmission Line Realignment 69 ST SW and Glenmore Trail

​Project overview

Alberta Transportation continues to move forward with planning of the Southwest Calgary Ring Road. To accommodate construction of the new interchange at 69 Street SW and Glenmore Trail (Highway 8), ENMAX Power Corporation (ENMAX) is required to relocate a portion of an existing 138 kV transmission line along Glenmore Trail (Highway 8).

Construction will being in early February 2017 and is anticipated to be complete in four weeks.
