In response to the COVID-19 situation, we have implemented a COVID-19 customer relief program for residential and small commercial ENMAX customers. This includes increased payment flexibility such as installment plans, extended payment dates and suspension of collection-related activities on your account. We will not disconnect services, and late payment fees will not apply until further notice.
In addition, the Government of Alberta and City of Calgary announced 90-day payment deferral programs.
You have the option of either deferring your bills entirely through the Government of Alberta and City of Calgary programs, or setting up a customized payment plan to best manage your bills at this time.
Please call us at 310-2010 to discuss the options available through our COVID-19 customer relief program or to set up a 90-day payment deferral.
If you are a commercial customer and have questions about your account, please contact your dedicated Account Manager or Client Care at 1-866-331-2199 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Government of Alberta announced a 90-day deferral program on utility bills for residential, farm and small commercial customers.
This program came into effect on March 18, 2020 and will run through June 19, 2020. The program allows for a 90-day deferral of utility bill payments to provide temporary financial relief. You will still need to pay any balances related to deferred payments.
At this time, the program is available to Albertans who are experiencing financial hardship as a direct result of COVID-19; for example, those who lost their job or had to leave work to take care of an ill family member.
If you’re an ENMAX customer, call us directly to arrange for a deferral. Otherwise, call your utility provider.
You can read more and check for any updates on the
Government of Alberta’s website.
At this time, large businesses are not included in the Government of Alberta’s 90-day deferral program. Commercial customers can learn about available support for businesses and employers on the Government of Alberta and Government of Canada websites.
