The utility payment deferral program has ended, do I have to pay my total deferral balance immediately?
Total deferred balances from the utility payment deferral program do not have to be paid immediately. Customers had the option to set up an installment plan to help manage deferred payments.
If customers did not set up an installment plan for their deferred payments before July 18, 2020, a ten-payment plan was set up for them.

Who was eligible for the installment plan options?
Residential, farm and small business customers who deferred payments were eligible installment plans providing they met one or more of the following consumption criteria:
Where are installment amounts listed on my bill?
The total deferred balance is listed as a credit (CR) on the Account Charges line of your first installment bill, with the current installment amount appearing above the Total Amount Due.
Can I make a lump sum payment towards my deferral amount?
Yes, you can make a lump sum payment or pay off your installment plan at any time. Simply contact our Customer Care Centre at 310-2010.
Do I have to pay both my installment plan amount and my regular charges on each bill?
Yes, your installment amount will be added to your regular charges on your bill. You will need to pay both of these amounts when they are due.
