Project Status

ENMAX filed an application with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) for the proposed work on June 28, 2017. The AUC issued a decision approving the project and new permits and licenses on September 15, 2017.

During the detailed design phase, ENMAX identified constructability challenges around the 14 ST NW and 9 Ave SW intersection. In response to this, ENMAX proposed a new alignment in this area and filed an amendment to the AUC in May 2018. The AUC issued an approval in July 2018.

Construction started in June 2018 and scheduled completion is March 2019.
