Unexpected power outages can happen for any number of reasons. From high winds and snow storms, to vehicle accidents and lightning strikes, power outages are often caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Scheduled outages will happen when the power is manually turned off so that crews can complete their work on the electrical system safely and efficiently.
Damage to the wires or service mast that connect your home and buildings with that main power lines can lead to isolated outages on your property.

All customers are free to purchase natural gas services from the default supply provider or from a retailer of their choice and to purchase electricity services from the regulated rate provider or from a retailer of their choice. The delivery of natural gas and electricity to you is not affected by your choice. If you change who you purchase natural gas services or electricity services from, you will continue receiving natural gas and electricity from the distribution company in your service area.
