Enriching our communities: ENMAX team members give back
Calgary, AB – Giving back is part of who we are at ENMAX and our team members went above and beyond last year, enhancing our communities with their volunteerism and generosity.
Team members volunteered 5,460 hours in 2023 and raised over $194,000 for 220 charitable organizations which help build strong communities and support vulnerable people with essential needs.
From hanging holiday lights at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and gathering baby items for the Calgary Food Bank to collecting donations for the Calgary Drop-In Centre, ENMAX team members came together to help build strong communities and support Calgary’s most vulnerable people.
“Thank you to our amazing team members for their dedication, hard work and all they do to enhance the communities we live and work in,” said Brandie Yarish, chief human resources officer, EVP safety and information technology at ENMAX Corporation. “We are so proud of their generosity and community spirit."
Through organized events and individual efforts, team members supported causes and organizations including the Distress Centre, Centre for Newcomers and Trellis Society. Many of these organizations help people with essential needs and ENMAX double-matched all employee donations to our energy affordability partners as part of ENMAX’s annual employee giving program.
