ENMAX releases its 2025 Sustainability Report

Calgary, Alta. - ENMAX Corporation’s 2025 Sustainability Report, now available, highlights our continued focus in:

  • Investing to maintain a reliable grid
  • Making a difference in the communities we serve
  • Keeping customers connected to what matters most
  • Powering communities today and preparing for the future

“At its core, sustainability means long-term business resilience and looking further out than day-to-day operations for what our customers and communities need,” said Jennifer Saldana, Director, Sustainability and Indigenous Relations. “Our Sustainability Report tells the story of how we’re supporting reliability, affordability and environmental stewardship both now and in the future.”

2025 highlights:

  • Reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 68 per cent from our 2015 baseline.
  • Developed four Water Management Plans, one for each of our operated natural gas generation facilities.
  • Invested $559 million in Alberta and Maine to increase grid reliability and resilience.
  • Completed 1,774 proactive safety measures in Alberta and 977 in Maine, supporting our strong safety culture.
  • Achieved a 90.4 per cent customer satisfaction rate by the ENMAX Energy customer care team; 93 per cent at Versant Power.
  • Contributed $4.2 million to community organizations in Alberta and Maine.
