ENMAX announces leadership appointments at Versant Power and ENMAX Energy


Calgary, AB – ENMAX Corporation (ENMAX) has announced two new leadership appointments that strengthen and reinforce our commitment to reliable energy service across Alberta and Maine.

Effective May 1, 2026, Erica Young will assume the role of President, Versant Power, succeeding John Flynn, who will retire following a distinguished career with the organization. In addition, Sheri Primrose, currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO), will expand her responsibilities to include the role of Executive Vice President, ENMAX Energy, effective January 1, 2026.

 

Erica Young appointed President, Versant Power 

Erica has been with ENMAX since 2016 and currently serves as Executive Vice President, ENMAX Energy, a role she has held since 2024. Previously, she served as Chief Legal, Commercial and Regulatory Officer, leading diverse teams across legal, regulatory, compliance, government relations, shareholder relations, ESG, Indigenous relations, and corporate strategy.

In addition to her deep operational and regulatory experience, Erica brings familiarity with Versant Power, having played a leadership role in its acquisition and serving on its Board of Directors from 2020 to 2024.

 

Sheri Primrose appointed Executive Vice President, ENMAX Energy

Since joining ENMAX in 2006, Sheri has built a track record of leadership excellence across the organization, including several years within ENMAX Energy. As CFO since 2023, she has been instrumental in advancing ENMAX’s financial strategy, driving performance, and reinforcing the company’s financial resilience.
