Qualified contractors are hired to handle much of the routine trimming required to implement the three-year trimming cycle. This allows ENMAX Power Corporation to take advantage of specialized expertise while keeping program costs as low as possible.
ENMAX Power employees will continue to handle spot trimming where trees are too close to power lines or when emergency trimming of bushes is required.
Through ongoing involvement with professional associations such as the International Society of Arboriculture and the Professional Vegetation Managers Association (PVMA), ENMAX Power remains up-to-date with safety procedures and trimming techniques.
