Key aspects of the Developer Choice model are as follows:

• Developers are responsible for design, construction, and project coordination
• Applies to the majority of Developer driven non-residential distribution projects, excluding projects initiated by The City of Calgary Transportation Infrastructure and Roads
• Developers have a choice of pre-qualified service providers.
  
• The pre-qualified service provider will undertake the electrical design and construction on behalf of the developers
• Standards, specifications and guidelines for design, material and construction are set by ENMAX Power
  
• ENMAX Power will continue to contribute to the servicing cost in accordance with the investment levels outlined in the Terms and Conditions of servicing approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission
