ENMAX Power Corporation is relocating an existing transmission structure to accommodate The City of Calgary’s 9 Avenue SE Bridge Replacement Project. The City of Calgary has determined an existing structure is in direct conflict with the current design of the bridge expansion construction.
ENMAX Power filed an application with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) for the work on May 5, 2017. The AUC issued a decision approving the project on May 24, 2017.
Construction is scheduled to start in spring/summer 2018.
