Sound corporate governance at ENMAX contributes to shareholder and public value, trust and confidence in our organization. We release an annual disclosure document regarding our governance and executive compensation practices.
ENMAX made progress on incorporating the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations into the 2021 ESG Report. The TCFD recommendations guide ENMAX in integrating climate-related risks and opportunities into business decisions and strategy. The 2021 ESG report includes expanded disclosure including modelling of resilience/climate scenarios and increased narrative on other recommendations.

In 2022 ENMAX was recognized as one of Canada’s Greenest Employers by Mediacorp Canada (the tenth time since 2009). This recognition reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship across our business operations.
In 2019, ENMAX achieved Electricity Canada’s designation as a Sustainable Electricity Company. This designation recognizes the importance ENMAX places on our environment, social and governance performance.
