Distribution and Transmission Charges

There will be charges beyond the energy rates on your EasyMax® bill, including charges for distribution and transmission that are passed along by your Wires Service Provider for electricity and your gas distribution company for natural gas. These charges are passed along to all residential customers whether they are on the Regulated Rate Option or have chosen a competitive retailer. These charges cover the costs related to providing the physical electricity and natural gas to your home.

Customers are free to purchase natural gas services or electricity services from a retailer of their choice. For a list of retailers, visit ucahelps.alberta.ca or call 310-4822 (toll free in Alberta).

1.	Some conditions, admin, other fees and taxes beyond the electricity and natural gas rates also apply.
2.	You can switch between fixed and floating rates once per month either online or by contacting ENMAX Energy at 310-2010. If you change plans, your new rate will become effective immediately. You can only change to a rate which is available at the time you elect to switch.
