ENMAX Power is committed to ensuring the communities we serve are engaged and updated about projects in their neighbourhoods.
The City of Calgary has requested that ENMAX Power Corporation (ENMAX Power) alter its existing 39.82L transmission line (39.82L) to accommodate the construction of a single lane overpass over Stoney Trail (Highway 201) to connect 80 Avenue NE (the Northeast Stoney Crossing). To accommodate the Northeast Stoney Crossing, ENMAX Power is proposing to relocate one wood pole within the existing alignment of 39.82L which runs along Stoney Trail (the Project).
ENMAX Power plans to file a Letter of Enquiry application with the Alberta Utilities Commission in Q2 2022. Subject to receiving approvals and procuring materials, construction is anticipated to begin in Q3 2022. Project construction is anticipated to take approximately one week with a proposed in-service date in Q3 2022.
