ENMAX responds to Alderman Colley-Urquhart's suggestion of improprieties

The media recently reported that Alderman Colley-Urquhart has received information about activities at ENMAX that may involve improprieties. Various news reports also indicated that Alderman Colley-Urquhart has provided this information to the Calgary Police Service.

ENMAX Corporation has no knowledge of the content of these allegations.

We have attempted to contact the Alderman but have not received a reply.

ENMAX is committed to the highest ethical standards in our operations.

Our Board Audit and Finance Committee, chaired by Mr. Greg Melchin, has a mandate to ensure that all financial matters of the corporation are handled appropriately. Further, ENMAX has an ethics hotline and an internal auditor to address any ethical issues. Once we understand the nature of these allegations, we will conduct a thorough investigation and respond with appropriate actions.
