Bright Nights is an outdoor lighting rental program offered by ENMAX Power Services Corporation to both residential and business customers in certain areas. The residential program gives eligible customers the option to light areas on their private property, such as a dark back alley, for a fee.

The cost is only $17.59/month (plus applicable taxes), per light. One household can pay this, or the cost can be split between up to six residences. There is a minimum term of 12 months for the service.
The cost includes the installation and maintenance of the dusk to dawn light, as well as the electricity required each month.
The lights are fitted with a photocell sensor that will switch the light on at dusk and off at dawn, saving energy and money.
The light is a 100-watt, energy efficient, high-pressure sodium vapour luminaire or fixture, which provides light in a radius of approximately 40 ft., similar to that of a city streetlight.
After the initial term, the contract is self-renewing month to month and can be terminated with 30 days' notice.
If for any reason you need to cancel the agreement prior to the initial term, you'll be required to pay a termination fee, which is calculated as the monthly fee multiplied by the number of months remaining in the contract.

All customers are free to purchase natural gas services from the default supply provider or from a retailer of their choice and to purchase electricity services from the regulated rate provider or from a retailer of their choice. The delivery of natural gas and electricity to you is not affected by your choice. If you change who you purchase natural gas services or electricity services from, you will continue receiving natural gas and electricity from the distribution company in your service area.
