ENMAX Proposed Transmission Line Relocation – 212 Avenue and Deerfoot Trail SE

Project Overview

Alberta Transportation has requested ENMAX Power Corporation (ENMAX) relocate three existing transmission structures to accommodate construction of the new intersection at 212 Ave and Deerfoot Trail SE.

ENMAX proposes to remove and salvage the existing steel monopoles and associated components and replace them with new structures.  




Project Details

The proposed project consists of the following:

  • Replacing a total of 3 steel 138 kV double circuit mono-poles on the west side of Deerfoot
  • All replacement poles will be located in the existing alignment
