The Proactive Cable Replacement Program aims to mitigate power disruptions by reducing instances of cable faults. To achieve this, ENMAX will be replacing underground cables that are nearing the end of their lifespan.
This work requires access to our underground utilities, where either a utility right-of-way exists or necessary agreements for land access have been obtained. In general, these underground cables are located in alleyways, but they can also be located on residential or commercial properties. Where these utilities exist, depends on the layout of your community.
