Calgary Board of Education (CBE)

ENMAX Environmental Leadership Scholarship


This $1000 award is presented to a CBE student that demonstrates outstanding environmental leadership and citizenship throughout grades 10 to 12 by their involvement in environmental clubs, community environmental events, leadership groups, and environmental leadership initiatives. To be eligible, you must qualify for an Alberta High School Diploma with a grade 12 average of 65 per cent or higher in five courses, three of which must be 30-level core courses.

Calgary Chamber of Commerce and ENMAX Graduate Scholarship in Global Climate Change Research


This award is open to University of Calgary students enrolled in a full-time graduate program with a primary focus on climate change. You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada to qualify.

ENMAX Corporation Award


This $1000 award is presented to a student who’s enrolled in the Macphail School of Energy - Electrical Engineering Technology Program at SAIT. The student must be in their third semester and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Horizon, Livingstone Range, and Westwind School Divisions


Each year, a $1000 scholarship is awarded to a student from each of these school Divisions: Horizon (No. 67), Livingstone Range (No. 68) and Westwind (No. 74). Criteria for these awards are specific to the individual divisions and students must apply through their school.


Mount Royal University

ENMAX Bright Minds Scholarship Fund


The ENMAX Bright Minds Scholarship Fund is awarded to a full-time second, third or fourth year student with a minimum 3.0 GPA in one of Mount Royal University's academic credit programs in the areas of Business, Environment, Science or Engineering.

Students must demonstrate financial need based on Mount Royal University's financial need assessment procedures and their involvement in extra-curricular activities and/or their community engagement.

ENMAX Trades Scholarship


This $1000 award is presented to a CBE student who demonstrates outstanding leadership and citizenship throughout grades 10 to 12, and is based on their involvement in clubs, community events and leadership groups. The student must qualify for an Alberta High School Diploma with a grade 12 average of 60 per cent or higher in five courses, three of which must be core courses. The award must be used to attend a post-secondary institution in the province of Alberta, and the applicant must be entering into an area of trade related studies.

Paul Dawson/ENMAX Student Award


This annual award is offered to an undergraduate student of the University of Calgary who is continuing their studies with a concentration in Accounting in the Haskayne School of Business, and is based on academic merit and financial need.
