Our community investment program helps create positive social change by aligning our strengths and core values to refine or improve the neighbourhoods we live in across Alberta.
We've identified four areas where we can have a positive impact on Alberta families and communities today and for years to come.
If your organization is seeking funding and you believe the initiative aligns to ENMAX's areas of focus, please apply through our online application below.
Powering partners supports organizations and community partners that provide aid, resources and energy assistance to Albertans facing hard times or crisis situations, such as unexpected emergencies or life-altering events. This impact area also proactively offers education and guidance in an effort to reduce the likelihood of these situations in the future.
Powering Alberta focuses on grassroots initiatives that support Alberta communities through energy related projects that provide value to you and your community.
Powering tomorrow enables communities and organizations to increase electricity literacy across Alberta through education. By helping to cultivate informed electricity stewards, we hope to change how electricity is consumed today and provide information on electricity related technologies and advancements for tomorrow.
Powered employees are our greatest ambassadors in the community, and they're often involved in a variety of organizations and causes that are important to them. Through volunteer initiatives as well as cash and in kind donations, we are able to support our employees' passions and efforts.
All customers are free to purchase natural gas services from the default supply provider or from a retailer of their choice and to purchase electricity services from the regulated rate provider or from a retailer of their choice. The delivery of natural gas and electricity to you is not affected by your choice. If you change who you purchase natural gas services or electricity services from, you will continue receiving natural gas and electricity from the distribution company in your service area. For a current list of retailers you may choose from, visit www.ucahelps.gov.ab.ca or call 310-4822 (toll free in Alberta).
*Based on London Benchmarking Group criteria which include cash, in-kind, volunteer time during business hours and program management costs.
