We're bringing our hockey fever to Edmonton. Hockey Edmonton and ENMAX Corporation recently announced we're the official sponsor of the 2014 ENMAX Hockey Edmonton City Championships running from March 1-20.
"We've been a proud supporter of minor hockey across Alberta for 14 years running," said
Gianna Manes, ENMAX President and CEO. "In addition to the upcoming ENMAX Hockey Edmonton City Championships, we also sponsor
Pond Hockey by ENMAX to provide an opportunity for kids throughout the province to play exciting games with their WHL and NHL heroes. We look forward to this exciting sponsorship with Hockey Edmonton to support players in their quest to be the best on the ice."
This is the first time Hockey Edmonton secured a major sponsor for the Championships, which will feature 527 participating teams from Edmonton and surrounding communities. This year, we're supporting 211 minor hockey teams in 13 different
Alberta locations. Of these, 118 novice teams are participating in the ENMAX Hockey Edmonton City Championships.Follow #PoweringAlberta on
