March 12 - 13, 2014
On March 12 and 13, over 3,000 Calgary students will get the chance to attend the Safety Expo at The City of Calgary's Municipal Building. The Safety Expo is Calgary's premier event aimed at teaching students about hazardous situations at home, school and play. Students can visit over 30 interactive displays and seven workshops designed to engage them about making responsible decisions regarding their personal safety. Topics range from electrical safety and emergency preparedness, to cyber safety and proper use of helmets.
As a proud sponsor, ENMAX provides funding for buses so that children can attend the event, free of charge to schools. ENMAX personnel will be onsite to teach kids how to use electricity safely at home, school and play, and allow kids to try on personal protective equipment used by our field staff to keep them safe at work.
