Helping build strong and resilient communities

We are committed to supporting our communities through partnerships, sponsorships, donations, and employee volunteerism.

In 2022, we invested $3.7 million in community support in Alberta and Maine, enhancing funding to partner agencies to support energy affordability programs, including essential needs funding, energy efficiency education and conservation programs.

Corporate Giving

We strive to support our community partners with both their immediate and long-term needs. We are proud of our long-standing relationships, working together to have an impact in our community.

Employee Giving and Volunteering

Our people are our most valuable resource. We give back to the communities we live in, work in and serve by volunteering and supporting the organizations that matter most to our employees.

Our volunteering has included holiday light set ups at Alberta Children’s Hospital, walking in Calgary’s Pride Parade, creating a memorial garden for The Alex, building snuffle mats for the Calgary Humane Society, hosting virtual trivia with Silvera for Seniors, replacing the sand in a sandbox for Children’s Cottage, building and delivering kids bikes to Centre for Newcomers and Tsuut’ina Nation.

“ENMAX staff generously donated their time and talents to transform the backyard space at one of our shared supportive living complexes into a beautiful garden and patio. The welcoming outdoor space now provides a place for residents and staff to connect, share and enjoy together. With the support of ENMAX and their employees, residents now have a great space for a morning coffee or an afternoon chat. Creating a sense of belonging is key to building a strong and vibrant community. Thank YOU ENMAX!”
~Tara Pratt, Program Lead, Place-based Housing Programs, The Alex
