10-year legacy investment in the Calgary Stampede with creation of ENMAX Park

In the summer of 2014, ENMAX Corporation made a 10-year legacy investment in the creation of ENMAX Park, a new gathering place in the heart of the Calgary Stampede.

Located on the east side of Stampede Park, ENMAX Park will become a year-round community gathering place along the banks of the Elbow River honouring the more than 100-year history between the two organizations while building a solid foundation for the future.

"ENMAX Park is a beautiful way to celebrate and continue our long-standing relationship with the Calgary Stampede," says Gianna Manes, President and CEO. "Like the power and gas we provide to Albertans, this vibrant, public space will be available 365 days of the year to connect ENMAX Park visitors to the community for years to come."

This sponsorship will replace our current exposure and involvement within the ENMAX Corral Show for the 2016 Calgary Stampede which will be replaced by other exposure and benefits including the name.

ENMAX Park will be an open-air museum and outdoor classroom. Families will have the chance to learn about environmental stewardship, significant trailblazers, First Nations of Treaty 7 and Calgary's history.  The space will be a gathering place for recreation, celebration and learning.
