Helen J. Wesley

Executive Vice President, Finance, Information Technology and Chief Financial Officer

Helen is accountable for ENMAX's strategic planning, corporate development, financial management, enterprise risk management, treasury, internal controls, auditing and taxation matters.  Additionally, Helen is accountable and provides strategic oversight to ENMAX's information technology function.

Throughout her career Helen has acquired more than 20 years of financial and senior leadership experience within international oil & gas and chemical industries. Prior to joining ENMAX, Helen served as EVP, Corporate Services for Talisman Energy and VP and Treasurer for Suncor Energy following its merger with Petro-Canada. Additionally, she worked briefly with Spencer Stuart, providing executive search consulting services specializing in global energy, financial officer and board practices.

Helen obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, an MBA from Bentley College in Boston MA and a designation as a chartered financial analyst. In 2012, she received the Management Alumni Excellence Award from the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business and holds a professional director designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. Helen currently serves on the board of Enerflex, a publicly traded energy services company, and CARE Canada, a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to ending poverty.
