Sarah Morgan-Silvester

Sarah Morgan-Silvester is a corporate director serving on a number of boards including: Canadian Western Bank, Grant Thornton LLP, Grosvenor America Partners and BC Ferry Services Inc. She has been a member of the ENMAX Board of Directors since 2007. She is past Chair of Port Metro Vancouver and chaired the committee responsible for overseeing the merger of the three ports in the Lower Mainland, including Canada's largest port. An active volunteer, she is Chancellor Emeritus of the University of British Columbia and past Chair of BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre Foundation. She currently serves on the board of the Vancouver Foundation.

Ms. Morgan-Silvester has a background in financial services and served as past Executive Vice President, Personal Financial Services and Wealth Management for HSBC Bank Canada with national accountability for retail banking, internet banking, full service and self-directed brokerage, asset management, trust, insurance and private banking businesses. She was also President and CEO of HSBC Trust Company (Canada).

Ms. Morgan-Silvester has received a number of awards including: the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Association of Women in Finance Lifetime Achievement Award, Influential Women in Business Award, and Canada's Top 40 Under 40 Award. She has been named as one of BC's 100 Women of Influence and in Vancouver Magazine's Power 50 List. Ms. Morgan-Silvester has her Human Resources and Compensation Committee certified designation from The Directors College.
