ENMAX appoints new Board members

ENMAX is pleased to announce the appointment of William (Bill) Taylor and Bruce Williamson to the ENMAX Board. Mr. Taylor and Mr. Williamson bring a depth of experience and knowledge that will serve ENMAX well in its mission to safely and responsibly provide electricity and energy services to people, businesses and communities, and provide value for our Shareholder and the citizens of Calgary.

Mr. Taylor has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector, including renewable power. He spent 21 years at TransCanada Corporation (now TC Energy), where he held various senior executive positions, most recently as Executive Vice President and Division President, Energy. Mr. Taylor is a past director of the Canadian Electricity Association, Independent Power Producers of New York, Independent Market Operator in Ontario, TransCanada Turbines, Bruce Power, and the Portlands Energy Centre.

Mr. Williamson also has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector. He has held many senior executive positions, including President and CEO of Southcross Energy Partners, Cleco Corporation and Dynegy Corporation. Mr. Williamson has held several Board Chair positions and currently serves on the University of Houston Bauer School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board and the UH Chancellor’s National Advisory Council and Energy Advisory Board. He also serves on Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital’s Patient and Family Advisory Council.

In addition to welcoming the two new Board members, the ENMAX Board and Executive team would like to thank retiring Board member Neil Camarta for his years of service and contributions to our organization.
