There are a lot of things about my job that make it a great fit for me including the incredible amount of independence and flexibility that comes with being a Meter Reader. My favourite thing about is spending my days walking around the city outside, and the sense of accomplishment I feel after completing my routes. I have also experienced an exceptional amount of support from our supervisors, who have a sincere concern for our well-being, ability to be successful, and are always willing to discuss any challenges I have encountered and work together to find a resolution. The supportive environment includes supervisors encouraging participation in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in the meter reading department, and many other cross training opportunities. It is a great environment to go to work in every day, and I know I will be supported in pursuing whatever career path I choose for my future at ENMAX.
All customers are free to purchase natural gas services from the default supply provider or from a retailer of their choice and to purchase electricity services from the regulated rate provider or from a retailer of their choice. The delivery of natural gas and electricity to you is not affected by your choice. If you change who you purchase natural gas services or electricity services from, you will continue receiving natural gas and electricity from the distribution company in your service area.
