Coordinator, Community Investment and Sponsorship

Jennifer

Gregory MelchinAs a Community Investment and Sponsorship Coordinator, Jennifer works at developing relationships with ENMAX's community partners and organizing internal and external programs and events that fit within the company's community investment pillars.

Jennifer started at ENMAX in 2008, as a Community Investment Representative in Edmonton who helped staff community events such as Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy. She developed the skills and knowledge as a representative that lead her to her role today, where she now develops, plans, executes and manages the events that she would have at one time just been working at.

"ENMAX has always supported me in my career goals, right from the get go," Jennifer says. "They helped me become a coordinator, and today they are putting me through a project management certificate to support my goal of taking on a management position in the future."

Jennifer says her favorite part about working for ENMAX is the culture. From ski trips with coworkers to the open, honest environment that she works in, Jennifer says that she truly enjoys coming to work each and every day because of the people she sees in the hallways.

"Everyone here makes me feel like I am a valuable member of the company, and that what I come to work each and every day to do really matters," Jennifer says. "My creativity and ideas are accepted and seen through, whether I give them to my manager or our vice-president.  ENMAX is truly a place that allows me to be me, and challenges me to become even better each and every day."
