Without an additional monthly charge, EasyMax® customers can choose to redeem their EasyMax Reward® dollars toward Greenmax. For the Rewards dollars, ENMAX Energy will ensure 5000 kWh per year of renewable energy is secured on your behalf from an EcoLogoM certified facility in Alberta. 5000 kWh of renewable energy is enough to supply about 2/3 of an average Alberta household’s electricity consumption for an entire year!
How Greenmax is different from other renewable energy programs:
- You don’t need to pay an additional monthly fee on your energy bill*. You simply apply your EasyMax Rewards dollars toward Greenmax.
- You continue to receive only one monthly bill for your gas, electricity and renewable energy.
- Greenmax was the first program of its kind and is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Alberta.
- The renewable energy provided is produced in Alberta by EcoLogoM certified facilities
How can you help support wind power through Greenmax?
If you are an EasyMax customer for both your gas and electricity, simply log onto your account at enmax.com/easymaxrewards and switch how your Rewards dollars are redeemed or call us at 310-2010 to make the switch.
If you are not an EasyMax customer, you simply sign up for EasyMax gas and electricity and choose to have your EasyMax Rewards dollars redeemed toward Greenmax.
