ENMAX Power is responsible for providing full electricity service, including the supply of electricity to eligible customers that have not yet chosen a retailer.
ENMAX Energy administers this service on behalf of ENMAX Power.
The Regulated Rate Option (RRO), formerly known as the Regulated Rate Tariff, is offered to residential customers and small business consumers that consume less than 250,000 kWh/year. This service is being offered during the transition to a competitive electricity retail market.
The Alberta Energy and Utilities Board has approved EEC's 2006 RRT into 2007 on an interim refundable basis. The 2008 Rates have been approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission.
