Want to energize your Grade Five students with an electrical safety presentation that ties into the Province’s science curriculum?
Our presenter will bring the Hazard Hamlet, an electrical simulator featuring potentially dangerous situations, to explain how to be safe around electricity and high voltage equipment. ENMAX Safety gear is also displayed to help kids understand why not every insulator can be counted on for safety when it comes to power lines and broken appliances.
The presentation is about an hour long, and we're happy to accommodate any size group of Grade Five students. The program is available for multiple sessions on Monday afternoons, or any time Tuesday through Thursday.
Since ENMAX Power is committed to helping kids learn about the dangers of electricity, there is no cost to you or your school for this presentation. We even have a free safety magazine for your students that they can bring home and share with their families and friends!
Please note this program is only available for schools in Calgary and Red Deer. Any school in these areas, including home school groups and private schools, can request a presentation.
We visit over a hundred schools every year, reaching about 7,000 students in person, and the numbers are growing! This means that the schedule is always quite busy, so BOOK NOW to to secure your spot!
