Project Update
Due to scheduling delays, the application that was to be filed with the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) in January 2011 was filed July 2011. ENMAX Power will continue its participant involvement efforts through the regulatory process and, if the project is approved, through the construction and operation phases.
 

Open House - Oct. 25 & 28, 2010
ENMAX Power will be hosting two open houses on No. 54 Substation. Local area residents, landowners and other interested parties can learn more about the proposed No. 54 Substation on Monday, Oct. 25 from 4-8 p.m. at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino and Thursday, Oct. 28 at Century Hall in Cranston.

Regulatory Update

On Oct. 4, 2011, the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) issued a Notice of Application for the No. 54 Substation facilities application followed by a Notice of Written Hearing issued on Jan. 17, 2012.  Registered parties have until Feb. 7, 2012 to submit additional information after which time the AUC will make a decision on the application based on information filed.
