Proposed Line Moves in Calgary
Power lines are important components of the electrical infrastructure required to keep reliable electricity available for customers.  Line moves are simply taking existing power lines and physically moving them to another desired location.

As the City of Calgary continues to grow and expand, so does the need for electricity and electricity infrastructure.  As a result, ENMAX is proposing the following line moves in Calgary.

Line move 39.82 in NE Calgary close to the communities of Coral Springs and Monterey Park is proposed for late 2007.  The purpose of this line move is to comply with the Alberta Government and to make room for Calgary’s future ring road.  For more information on this move, call 514-2761 or e-mail us. See the map of the proposed location.
