These upgrades require regulatory approval by the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC). 

ENMAX Power and AltaLink will be gathering input from community stakeholders between April 2010 and June 2010, and anticipate submitting their Facility Applications in May 2011. If the proposed projects are approved, ENMAX Power and AltaLink expect construction to begin in May 2012.
