Estimated Readings
If our meter reader can't access your meter, you'll receive a card in your mailbox inviting you to read your meter. (There are several things you can do to help us access your meter next time.)
If you decided not to take your own reading, your energy provider will bill you based on estimated readings rather than your actual consumption.
ENMAX Power publishes the meter reading cycle schedule (for Calgary customers only) online. Learn when your meter is scheduled to be read. Multiple estimated reads could result in less accurate billing.
Conducting your own meter reading is optional.
If you choose not to take a reading, your energy provider will bill you based on an estimated reading.
Should an appointment be necessary to read your meter, please contact your energy retailer.
