Turn off the pilot light on gas forced air furnaces in the summer months.
Install a programmable thermostat to lower the heat when your business is closed.
Make sure to have your furnace cleaned once a year by a trained professional.
Replace your furnace filter once every two to three months.
Install weather stripping to windows and doors.
Install double-paned windows.
Make sure your business is adequately insulated.
Buy ENERGY STAR® products when choosing natural gas appliances.
