ENMAX Default Supplier Rate

ENMAX Energy Corporation has revised the  Default Supplier Rate Schedules effective April 1, 2010 for the ENMAX Power Corporation, Red Deer, Fort Macleod, Crowsnest Pass, Cardston and Ponoka Service Areas. These rates apply to commercial customers who consume more than 250 megawatt hours on an annual basis and have not signed a competitive contract with a retailer. The Default Supplier Rates have been revised to incorporate both a Fixed Rate Demand Charge and a Variable Rate Energy Charge. The Fee Schedule remains unchanged, while the Terms and Conditions are revised to reference the Alberta Utilties Commission rather than the former Energy and Utilities Board. In addition, a Default Supplier Rate Schedule has been created for the town of Ponoka, which was recently added to the areas for which EEC is responsible for default supply.
