Media Advisory - Atoms face off the Calgary Flames and Calgary Hitmen for 9th season of "Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy"

Media representatives are invited to attend the ninth season opening of "Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy" on Thursday, January 10.
This fun and exciting grassroots program offers local community children at the atom level (ages 9 to 10 years) the chance to learn game enhancing skills and to take to the ice with their local heroes in pursuit of their hockey dreams. Harvey the Hound, Farley the Fox, players from the Calgary Flames and Calgary Hitmen, Calgary Hockey Development and ENMAX representatives will be on at Sandstone/MacEwan Community as the new season kicks off.
    
This season, ENMAX Energy Corporation's popular children's hockey program will visit 16 communities throughout Alberta, providing young Alberta hockey players with the opportunity to skate alongside WHL or NHL hockey celebrities. "Pond Hockey by ENMAX Energy" continues to play an important role in the development of young hockey players throughout the province and is tangible evidence of the Corporation's commitment to youth and community pride.
