ENMAX Corporation Selects ISNetworld for Vendor Management
For Immediate Release
Calgary, Alta,

ISN expands with a Canadian Electricity Owner Client

ENMAX Corporation (ENMAX) announced that it has selected ISNetworld (ISN) for vendor prequalification services. Using ISN’s services is intended to enhance safety, efficiency, quality and environmental management, all in a one-stop shop approach.

“Many of ENMAX’s vendors already are subscribers to ISN’s services, and outsourcing the prequalification process for new vendors to ISN brings a number of benefits,” explained Dave Rehn, EVP, Generation and Wholesale Energy. “ENMAX has stringent safety requirements and using ISN’s services will improve our overall performance in this key area. A tight control over our quality and environmental management programs will be an added bonus. We look forward to the day when our entire supplier base is part of ISN. We see it as a win/win/win for ENMAX, our vendors and ISN.”

ISN is a global resource for connecting corporations with safety-focused and reliable vendors specializing in capital-intensive industries. ISN collects and verifies self-reported conformance information from subscribing vendors and then reports the data in an easy-to-follow dashboard format. Centralizing conformance information saves time for vendors and corporations. Vendors don’t have to provide the same information over and over to multiple corporations and corporations don’t have to spend time processing prequalification requests. Corporations also don’t have to worry about ensuring vendor data is maintained current and up to date. Another benefit is that ISN provides corporations with visibility to many qualified vendors. Corporations gain access to more vendors and can select resources that best meet their requirements. Vendors benefit from the visibility and often gain additional presence in the marketplace as a result of their ISN subscription. Through its innovative data-systems, superior customer service, and global reach, ISN fosters more reliable data, safer work environments, and stronger partnerships.

The ISN team continuously looks to enhance its product and services.  As ENMAX begins this strategic relationship, the ISN team, is already evaluating further enhancements to vendor evaluation assessment in the areas of finance, credit, legal name/entity status and others.

“We are excited to welcome ENMAX as ISN’s first Owner Client in the electricity industry in Canada,” said Adrienne Turner, Director of New Business, ISN Canada. “ENMAX is already challenging ISNetworld to continue to expand and grow our services to meet the needs of our Owner Clients in new industries.”

ISN Senior Vice President Brian Callahan added, “With the addition of ENMAX, there is an increase in value to our current ISNetworld vendors in Alberta. Over the past years, ISN has expanded from its origins in Canadian Upstream Oil & Gas to accommodate the needs of other industries, such as Mining, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, etc. We are pleased to announce our expansion in the electricity industry as we begin our relationship with ENMAX.”
