The project site is located on the east side of Calgary in the recently annexed (designated industrial) area just south of Glenmore Trail and about 1.8 km east of 84th Street SE (SW-20-23-28-W4). The site is about 2 km northeast of Shepard, directly adjacent to an industrial park and existing 240kv transmission lines.
