Hiring Process

Posted positions
After the hiring manager reviews your resume, he or she may phone you to gather additional information. If it appears that you're a good match for the position, we will contact you to arrange an interview.

General applications
Upon sending a general resume to us (rather than applying for a specific job), when a suitable position arises, we'll consider your application. We retain all general applications for up to six months. If you upgrade your skills within this time period, we encourage you update your profile on our website.

What to expect during an interview:

  • Our interviews are normally conducted by the hiring manager and may include an HR representative and/or a team member from the business unit
  • During the interview, we'll ask questions to draw examples from your current or past work experiences. This approach uses the principles associated with behavioural descriptive interviewing and is one of the key considerations for assessing your skills, knowledge and abilities
  • You may be invited back for a second interview with some of the same people and/or to meet with other ENMAX stakeholders
  • You may be asked to provide a minimum of three work-related references. Our policy is to conduct a minimum of two reference checks from current or former managers

If you're selected for the position, we'll contact you by phone to make a verbal offer of employment. This will be followed by a written offer of employment that will be mailed to you.

Good luck on your application. Thank you for your interest in ENMAX!
