Common Questions
  1. How long will it be before I hear if I have an interview or have been hired?
Typically, if you are a good match for the position we will contact you between one to three weeks of the position closing date to arrange for an interview.

  2. How can I confirm you received my resume?
Once you have sent your resume to us via our website application tool, you will receive a confirmation email.

  3. How will I know if the position I applied for was filled?
Our policy is to contact candidates we are interested in interviewing. Once the interviewing process is complete, we try and call all candidates who were interviewed to let them know the status of the position.

  4. What positions do you have available?
We invite you to visit the job postings. There are three sections: current opportunities, future opportunities and student opportunities. These sections have information on jobs that are ongoing, require an application before a specific closing date or simply send in a general resume for consideration on any upcoming position that might match your qualifications.

  5. Do my qualifications fit any of the available positions?
Our job postings describe the qualifications and responsibilities required for each position. It is best if you read the job postings to see if your qualifications match any of the available positions.

  6. What courses or programs do you recommend I pursue to get into a specific field?
Education and training requirements really depend on the occupation you are interested in. As best we can, we recommend you send an e-mail and we will connect with someone working in the area you are interested in.

  7. Does ENMAX hire co-op, practicum, or summer students? If so what is the process?
Yes! ENMAX has extensive programs to support co-op, practicum and summer students. Please visit the job opportunities for students on our website.
