As CTO, Mr. Terry G. Tyler is responsible for ENMAX’s long-range vision for the industry including screening and evaluating technologies for their potential applicability to ENMAX. As CIO, Mr. Tyler is responsible for strategic process transformation and the efficient and effective use of information within ENMAX. Mr. Tyler also oversees the regulated and retail billing and customer care functions for ENMAX.
Prior to joining ENMAX in July 2008, Mr. Tyler held executive roles at Tennessee Valley Authority, IBM Business Consulting Services, Florida Power Corporation, Comanche Peak Nuclear Plant. Mr. Tyler also formed and co-owned a successful consulting company, Energex, which was the Program Manager for the post Three Mile Island Industry Degraded Core Rulemaking (IDCOR) program for Department of Energy (DOE) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
Mr. Tyler holds an MBA in Finance and Management and a BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee and was a licensed professional engineer in Tennessee for 18 years. He speaks regularly on the future of the energy and utilities industry. He currently serves on the advisory board to the College of Computer and Electrical Engineering at the University of Tennessee. Mr. Tyler is DOE Management Oversight and Risk Tree and Accident Investigation Certified.
