President and Chief Executive Officer

Gianna comes to ENMAX with over 24 years of experience in the energy industry. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer for Duke Energy, a large North American power holding company supplying and delivering electricity to approximately 4 million customers.

Gianna started her career with Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation, later known as PanEnergy, and held a variety of leadership roles. In 1996, following the merger between PanEnergy and Duke Power, she led the development and construction of the first merchant power plant in the northeastern US, and moved to various international positions and projects for Duke Energy International.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Gianna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston. She has also completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and serves on the boards of Classroom Central and Advanced Energy.
